Anyone post at fanfic?
I can't seem to log into fanfic (where I posted my first story) to add another story. Does anyone here have any suggestions?

I did send a comment to the webmaster, but I have no idea how soon they may (or may not) reply.

Edit: Got it sorted out. New story posted too. Egads, but I'm prolific when I'm obsessed.

So I've been dragged into a Brooklyn addicted state of mind. With the lack of stories out there (honestly, there probably couldn't be enough stories to suit my tastes), and after reading some of the awesome fan fiction out there about him, I couldn't resist writing one myself.

It's over at the Gargoyles FanFic site, http://fanfic.gargoyles-fans.org - name of the story is 'Upon these Parapets', in the 'Timedancer' Saga.

Hope if anyone stumbles back on this place they find it, and like it.

I can see that this community has been quiet lately (or so it seems).

I have no idea how canon this is, but I stumbled across this website that has 4 Seasons of 'Timedancer' stories written.

Some are better than others, but it has an overall plot. And naturally, lots of Brooklyn. I really however, wish that they had continued writing, as you will see by the end of Season 4 that the story isn't complete.

<3 Brooklyn

While it's not hopeful that the second DVD of Season 2 will ever come out, there's also a website called ... ah, here's the link that goes to the Gargoyles three seasons. http://tv.blinkx.com/show/gargoyles/A0TXgnsh7pGEfys9fexr7A#s2e25

You can watch Megavideo there if you want, but it turns off after a bit, but the youtube videos are good to watch as well. Alas, alas... not as much Brooklyn as we could want, but better than nothing, I suppose.

Review of Bad Guys #3: Sorry if this review seems really scattered, I'm mad tired and have been writing it in fits and starts over the past few hours.

BAD GUYS is definitely heating up, and I LOVED the backstory on the Canmore sibs, but I'm interested to see the "main plot" develop. Halfway through the LS and we really have not advanced the "main" plot at all. I'm kinda really ready to get to the present-day action. But I still really, really liked this issue, and it looks like the next will really kick things into overdrive.

(As always, x-posted to a bunch of Gargoyles communities; sorry for spamming any flists!)

Bad Guys #2 out today!
Hey all, just a reminder that BAD GUYS #2 is out today. The cover is at the GargWiki, and the issue itself looks pretty rocking. My comic store is already sold out, so I'll be posting a review later in the week, but feel free to share your thoughts here, just put a spoiler warning at the top of the comment.

As always, x-posted to a bunch of communities; I apologize if I'm cluttering up your flist.

As promised, a review of #8.
As always, x-posted to a lot of Gargoyles comms; sorry if I'm spamming your flist. :\

Final rating: 4.5 stars out of 5, and only because this is the middle issue of a trio and therefore a lot is setup for the third installment (and there's a little too much obvious backdoor piloting for PENDRAGON). I have to admit, I thought issues #1-6 were decent, but #7 and now #8 have really blown them out of the water and raised the bar. I absolutely can't wait for #9...and after that we get the granddaddy of them all, the TimeDance. CAN'T. WAIT.

Hey all,

Just a heads up that Gargoyles #8 is slated to be released tomorrow (Wed, March 26). The solicitation states "From the Holy Land to the British Isles... everyone wants a piece of the Rock. Xanatos, Macbeth, Coldsteel, Thailog, Merlin, Cu Chullain and the gargoyles strive to find it, possess it and learn its darkest secrets. All this and Fox's new shoes in CLAN-BUILDING, Chapter 8: Rock & Roll."

The interiors are done by Hedgecock and Bevard, the cover by Guler Hedgecock and Molina. Based on #7, this issue should be absolutely kickass, so I highly urge everyone to grab it. I'll try to post a review tomorrow; if not tomorrow, certainly sometime within the next week.

(Sorry if I spam your flist, everyone; x-posted to a bunch of Garg-related communities.)

Hi folks
First for some introduction

Name/Nickname: Brooky (see above)
Age: 25 (for now)
Sex: male
How long have you been a Gargoyles fan?

- Forever since I first watched Gargs on TV. This must have been about 1998 / 1999

Who is your favorite Gargoyles character?

- Guess for yourself :)

Is there anywhere else we can find you? (Websites/forums etc)

-Yeppers, ICQ, MSN, and some dragon-related Forums, Webpages etc.

Random info: (Whatever you'd like to add!´)

- I'm from Germany and fell in love with Brooklyn since I first saw him on TV.
Somehow it seemed that Brooklyns personality and mine were the same and he had to go
through the same kind of trouble that I had during this time.
Somehow this time was very formative to me and after I was all alone I virtually found a
friend in Brook. Well, the time went on and I found out that I do like dragons very much too.
So I've been joining some dragon communities but never lost my connection to Brook all the way
through my life.
After googling around for Brook for a while today I stumbled over this Community and it seems
that I owe a Livejournal account from now on.

So much for now. Please feel free to contact me any time.

Oh, and here's one picture a good friend of mine has drawn for me.
Image is all rights reserved to David Rudski.
Enjoy and best regards from Germany.

Review of Gargoyles: Clan Building, Volume One

Read more...Collapse )

Overall, a solid investment; I think it's worth getting for the corrections/lightened colors/convenience/just to have, even if you already own all six issues.

What'd you guys think?

Hey, fellow Gargoyles fans!

So as I hope everyone in this comm knows, Gargoyles isn't dead. In fact, it is being continued in comic form right now. Greg Weisman is writing it, and it continues the series after the last episode of the second season. It's a good comic--the writing is topnotch, and while the art was somewhat uneven to begin with, it has really been fabulous the last few issues.

To date, there are 7 issues out plus the first issue of a related limited series, Gargoyles: Bad Guys. But if you feel like you're too behind to pick the comic up now, never fear! The series' first trade paperback, Gargoyles: Clanbuilding: Volume One is currently slated to hit stores this upcoming Wednesday, the 23rd. This trade paperback collects issues 1-6 with a handful of extras, so if you're looking to pick the title up, all you need to do is grab the trade, grab #7, and you're all caught up!

In all seriousness, the comic is really good and with the extras, the trade deserves at least a flip-through. And as it collects the first six issues at actually less than what you'd pay for them individually, it's kind of a bargain. So I would definitely recommend checking it out. :)

(Cross-posted to a bunch of different communities, sorry for those of you who are seeing this more than once!)

Satisy my craving. Please.
My love for Gargoyles was recently revived. I'm talking full blast, here.

I know I'm in the minority here (as usual), but my OTP is still Brooklyn/Demona.

Does anyone know of any Brooklyn/Demona fics hiding in the corners of the internet? I'm trying to put together a comprehensive list of any and all Brook/Dem fics, fanart, ANYTHING. Any help you guys can give me would me much appreciated.

Cross-posted to nearly every Gargoyles community on LJ. Sorry!

Gargoyles #3: There's actually a Brooklyn scene!
While it's not much, it does seem to be set-up for a future story, or at least continuation of a long-running sub-plot.

Goliath is feeling very depressed, and in his downcast state manages to crush hopes Brooklyn had of asking a certain human/gargoyle clone out on a Halloween date.

brooklyn production cel auction
hi everyone!

my buddy kurtbatz pointed me this way. omg brooklyn = love.

alas, i have happened upon rough times and have had to put my most prised possession, an actual production sketch and cel of Brooklyn from the episode Temptation up for sale on eBay.

I know he's rather expensive but i have owned him for 11 years and i only want him to go to a wonderful new home :)

alas, there is an error in my wording regarding shipping in the auction, but whenever i try to revise i get an error message. So, I will ship internationally as long as the buyer is willing to pay actual shipping cost.

if I had a cel from Future Tense there would be no prying this bad boy out of my hands, trust me ;)
